How we do it!

Noma Service Consolidated Ltd is a pioneer in innovation and development of solutions targeting small holder farmers for the agro-sector in Nigeria with well over 1,400 hectares and 100,000 farmers under its management and development. The company has been in operation since 2017 and incorporated in 2021, with its headquarters in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
NOMA provides services in the production and development of innovative solutions to mitigate the risks in small-holder financing, monitoring, management and support to farmers, promoting financial inclusion, value chain development primarily focused in rural communities.
NOMA is in Partnership with Banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFI’s), Agencies, Service providers, Farmer corporative and groups with respect to having an ecosystem for seamless value chain interaction across stakeholders.
NOMA has an efficient network of service centre across the country. Agents are critical to achieving our mission as they extend the reach into the most remote areas while serving as the first point of contact to rural farmers. Our E-backbone is the basis of our capability for complete integration of the entire value chain in form of multi-layered interaction and related spatial data.
How we get it done

- Leverage our network and engagement with rural communities and groups to identify, train and strengthen the capacity of the prospective Agent who will be carefully selected and endorsed by host community to build trust.
- Improving financial literacy and reducing the size of unbanked Women and Youth in households spread across rural communities requires a robust Agent service network. Sending money, withdrawing money or saving money is a very huge challenge. Therefore, providing financial inclusion for these scattered rural communities requires a robust agent banking system to be put in place. We will work with Mercy Corps to identify, enroll, and equip Agents especially Youths and Women in the selected communities for Agent responsibilities.
- Partner with additional Banks such as FCMB, TajBank etc, Development Finance Institutions and Development partners to develop and offer more products to add to catalogue of financial offers especially targeting Women.
